An understated international look was the core objective for the store design. In keeping with the general human behaviour pattern observed in retail, where in a buyer races through the first 10-15 feet of the store without looking at the products in that span, we attempted to create a deliberate speed bump at the entrance foyer of the store through design elements like clusters of cylinders and backlit acrylic boxes. From here, the buyer is ushered in towards the heart of the store to allow for some ‘Red Carpet Feel’ even if only for the moment.
